I was on my way to work September 2004 when I felt faint and started bleeding. It was the beginning stage of a miscarriage. The doctors were amazed that despite how much blood I lost, they still found a heartbeat. A STRONG one! I was told to rest and to keep my feet up. I prayed and was blessed with a healthy 9 lb, 9 oz. boy on April 20th. My experience as a mother has been priceless and I feel so blessed to have my son.

Looking into my Jon-Bernard’s eyes, I can’t find words beautiful or good enough to express my love for my precious Jon-Bernard. So I just stare at him.

The final session for the book “Mama Love” was photographed and filmed March 18, 2013. The footage will be used for a Kickstarter.com infomercial to raise funds for editing, design and printing the book. Yep. It’s finally happening!
Blogger mom Jamia Eaton was the model. Makeup artist Kim Reyes enhanced her natural beauty. Film maker Sarai had her hands full getting me to relax, remember my lines and act natural. My mind goes blank when the camera is in front of me. Without the camera, I’ll talk your ears off about the project.

The birth of my children changed the way I think, live and love. The first sight of these blessings was but a glimpse at the awesome omnipotence of God. I am overwhelmed but thankful that I have been charged with the upbringing of five beautiful souls.
